Business informatics

On graduation the student gets the “bachelor’s” qualification. The course of studies lasts four years. The curriculum includes general disciplines referring to humanities, social, economic, mathematical and natural sciences. The professional cycle comprises such disciplines as economics, general system theory, data analysis, foundations of information science, simulation modeling, enterprise architecture, modeling of business processes, programming, management of IT service and content, electronic business, information security, risk management, mathematical economics, project management, pricing models, economic growth, economic and mathematical modeling, innovation management, taxes and taxation, economics of enterprises and others. The laboratory facilities of the department of mathematical methods in economics equipped with up-to-date computer facilities with licensed specialized software are used in training specialists.
The graduates’ activity is connected with computational modeling of business processes for aerospace, mechanical engineering and other enterprises with the help of up-to-date methods of industrial management on the basis of end-to-end simulation of business processes in the environment of CAD/CAM/CAE/CAPP/PDM/MRPII/ERP systems. The graduates hold managerial positions, engage in industrial management, carry out research, run enterprises or their divisions.
