After a course of study lasting for 4 years an undergraduate student is entitled to the“Bachelor” degree and gets an additional rank as a “Bachelor-engineer”. The curriculum provides a wide range of courses from the humanities, social and economic studies to mathematical and natural science studies. A professionally-oriented course includes such disciplines as: computer-aided design of aircraft and rocket engines, machine parts and design principles, the basics of finite element method, the technology of production of aircraft and rocket engines, power systems and machinery, principles of engine design, engine structural arrangements, process simulation in the combustion chamber, flow modeling in the combustion chamber, computer-aided design and others . The unique laboratories of the department of aircraft engine production, equipped with modern computer technology with specialized licensing software are used for training our specialists.
Postgraduates work in the fields of designing, engineering
and production of power plants and their systems. Postgraduates work at such enterprises as the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Space-Rocket Centre" TsSKB Progress ", plc " AVIAKOR - Aviation Plant", "Aviastar -SP ", plc " VOLGABURMASH ", plc"AvtoVAZ ", plc " Aviaagregat " plc, " Kuznetsov ", plc NPO "Saturn ", plc " Saturn - Gas Turbines " and others. Postgraduates hold positions as industrial and design engineers. They become heads of departments and entire companies.
In the area of 160700.68 of aircraft engines there have been offered the following master programs: integrated information technologies in the field of aircraft engine designing, information technologies in innovative manufacturing management, information modeling technologies of manufacturing business systems, mechatronic pneumatic-hydraulic units and systems, internal combustion aircraft engines, energetics, ecology, propulsion units of rocket and space systems, management of energy-efficient technologies.
