Technology of transport processes

The training is carried out on the basis of Faculty of Air Transport Engineers and takes 8 semesters to complete. Upon graduation students get a Bachelor degree. The curriculum includes general subjects in Humanities, Social Studies, Economics, Mathematics and Sciences. Among profession-oriented courses one may find Basics of Logistics, Human Resources Management, Transport Processes Modeling, Basics of Air Transport Information Security, Basics of Reliability Theory and Diagnostics, Transport Energy Systems, Transport Infrastructure, Aviation Security Systems, Airport Passenger and Cargo Terminals, Technology of Passenger and Freight Air Transportation and others. Students have access to advanced laboratory facilities based on the premises of many departments of Transportation Management. Such laboratories are equipped with modern computer technologies with specialized licensed software. Practical skills are fostered on the grounds of a unique airfield of the University, with all the machines still in operation.
Graduates deal with transport Logistics, increasing cost-effectiveness of vehicles. They work for airlines such as Volga-Dnepr, Rossiya Airlines, Transaero, Ural Airlines; for Logistics companies, Cargo Shipping Organizations, as well as international airlines and airline administration offices abroad. Graduates work as engineers handling transportation management for both airlines and Logistics companies, they carry out scientific research, run departments and entire companies.
