Electronics and nanoelectronics

Upon graduating students get a Bachelor’s degree and the additional rank of a Bachelor-engineer. The course of study lasts four years.
Disciplines of humanitarian, social, economic, mathematical and natural sciences cycles are included in curriculum. Professional cycle contains such disciplines as Chemistry of Nanodimensional systems, Physical-and-Chemical Fundamentals of Micro- and Nanotechnologies, Computational Physics, Materials of Electronic Engineering, Modeling of Micro- and Nanosystems, Nanocomposites and Materials in Electronic Engineering, Physical Fundamentals of Electronics, Circuitry (of Electronic Instrumentation), Design Basis of Electronic Component Base, Theoretical Basis of Nanotechnologies, Quantum Computations and Computers, Theoretical Basis of Integral Optics, Hardware Instrumentation of Micro- and  Nanotechnologies, Diagnostic Methods of Micro- and Nanostructures, Nanoelectronics and others. The unique laboratory resources of Nanoengineering Department equipped with modern facilities of calculation engineering with the licensed specialized software are used for training specialists. Students develop their skills in the students’ Design Bureaus, where the unique models of the working techniques are being developed.
Graduates’ activity is directed to the development, design and exploitation of micro- and nanosystems of radioelectronic, optical and other purposes. The graduates of this direction work at such enterprises as “Aviakor – Aviation plant”plc, Federal State Unitary Enterprise of State Research Production Space Rocket Centre “TsSKB-Progress”, “Informational Satellite Systems”plc named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev”, “ Research Institute “Ekran” plc and others. The graduates work as engineers-technologists, engineers-designers, are occupied with research work, are at the head of subdivisions, as well as are in charge of a business.
