Pre-university Russian language course

Center for Russian Language Education

Center for Russian Language Education helps non-Russian speaking foreign citizens to prepare for their further bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies in Russian.

Upon successful completion of the pre-university training program and passing the final examination, you are awarded a certificate that entitles you to study on a Russian-taught program at Samara University or any other university in the Russian Federation. 

Qualified specialists and professors are there to provide you with knowledge essential for the entrance examination for one of the following subject areas:

• Engineering 
• Humanities
• Economics
• Natural sciences
• Medicine

To apply for you the pre-university Russian language program, please send the following documents via e-mail to rc@ssau.ru: 

• a filled-out application form;
• a scanned copy of passport pages with your photograph, date and place of your birth (according to the requirements of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, your passport should be valid for no less than 18 months from the expected date of your arrival in the Russian Federation); 
• a notarized translation of your identity document into Russian;
• a scanned copy of documents confirming your previous education (secondary/high school certificate, bachelor’s or master’s degree diploma) – originals legalized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation and their notarized translation into Russian.
• Please mind that you are required to sign a study contract and pay tuition fees before you arrive in the Russian Federation. The tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year is 170,000.00 Rubles.
