Samara University’s delegation visited Bishkek and Osh (Kyrgyz Republic) as part of the international promotional tour on October 27-31, 2025. The representative group included specialists from the Department of Mobility and Recruiting Anna Alekseevna Kharchistova and Evelina Ilgizovna Khasanova, as well as Maria Aleksandrovna Korsun, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Cultural Studies.
The three-day intensive educational event held in the format of the program “InnoTsekh” on the base of the Russian House in Osh, was attended by 60 senior-school pupils from 10 schools in Osh. Under the guidance of Maria Aleksandrovna, the participants immersed themselves in the world of project thinking, innovative management and technological entrepreneurship. The culmination of the intensive course was developing the startup ideas focused on solving current social and engineering problems. The projects were presented before the expert commission.
Dmitry Nikolaevich Avram, Deputy Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic (Osh), Director of the Russian House of Science and Culture in Osh, said, “Samara University has chosen a very successful and modern format for presenting its capabilities. The project “InnoTsekh” combines everything: a wide coverage of schools, teamwork, competitive spirit, dynamics, which aroused the young peoples’ interest. This approach not only involves the participants in the process, but also effectively attracts the attention and interest of future applicants to the University. Due to this, the University became well-known among schoolchildren and teachers in Osh. I would like to thank the organizers for the initiative and the program held at the high level. I would also recommend other Russian universities to use similar formats of educational intensive courses. For its part, the Russian House in Osh is always ready to provide the venue and help organize meetings with potential applicants”.
The main objectives of the trip were strengthening educational ties with educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan, popularizing the University’s academic programs, and involving future international students.
An important part of the visit was meetings with senior-school pupils in a number of educational institutions in Bishkek.
Within the events:
· at Pushkin School No. 17, the presentation was attended by 100 people;
· at Gazprom Kyrgyzstan School, the event gathered 120 participants.
Anna Alekseevna and Evelina Ilgizovna gave the presentation of the University for future applicants, talked about admission opportunities and held interactive master classes “Economic Mafia” and “Scientific Casino”. This format allowed the participants to show their wit and erudition, as well as receive memorable prizes from the University.
The final point of the visit was participating in the Educational Exhibition “Education in Russia – 2025” to be held in Bishkek on October 29–31, 2025. The event was organized by the Moscow Classics Foundation, with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, as part of the Forum of School Leaders of Kyrgyzstan. Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, and Albert Makhmetkulov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, visited the Exhibition in Bishkek.
Visitors to Samara University’s stand received detailed information about the range of academic programs and the features of student life. The University’s exposition attracted the attention of numerous schoolchildren, their parents and representatives of the teaching community.
The visit to the Kyrgyz Republic opened a new page in the international activities of Samara University, contributing to strengthening partnerships and expanding the University’s influence in the CIS educational space.
