Aircraft engineering

After graduating from the University, a graduate gets a Bachelor degree and an additional rank of “bachelor - engineer”. Training lasts 4 years. Training program includes humanities, social, economic, mathematical and natural sciences. Professional series of disciplines contains such disciplines as aerodynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, finite-element modeling of aircraft design, machine components and fundamentals of design, machine structural mechanics, strength analysis, airplane design, fundamentals of production, airplane production technology, etc. To train specialists, unique laboratories of the aircraft design department and the aircraft production department are used that have most modern computes and licensed specialized software. Students improve their skills at the student design bureaus where they create unique working models, e.g. light airplane “Hawk”.
Graduates can work in the aircraft and aircraft systems designing, in the sphere of production technology of parts, assemblies and aircraft in whole. Our graduates work for Joint Stock Company “AVIAKOR- Airplane plant”, Close corporation “Aviastar-SP”, Joint Stock Company “United Aircraft Corporation” , Limited liability corporation “Scientific engineering company”,  Design Bureau “Sukhoy”, Design Bureau “Tupolev”, Design Bureau “Irkut”, Boeing, Airbus etc. Our graduates work as production engineers, aircraft designers, they carry out research, run the departments and enterprises.
Within a framework of specialization 24.04.04 Aircraft engineering  there is a Master’s program Design and CALS-technology in aircraft engineering.
