Radio electronic systems and complexes

On graduating students obtain the qualification of a specialist and the additional rank of an engineer. The course of study lasts five and a half years. The curriculum includes the general disciplines from the cycle of the humanities, social and economic sciences, mathematics and natural sciences. The professional cycle contains such disciplines as the fundamentals of the theory of oscillations, the electromagnetic field theory, electrodynamics and radio wave propagation, radio engineering circuits and signals, the fundamentals of computer-aided design and radio electronic system simulation, analogue electronic device circuitry, applied information science, electronic and quantum apparatus, antennas, network technologies, radio electronic system automated design, apparatus for signal reception and conversion and others. The training of specialists involves the unique laboratory facilities of the radio engineering department, including modern computer equipment with the licensed specialized software. Students improve their skills working in students’ design bureaus, where unique samples of operational apparatus are created.
Graduates’ activity is aimed at developing control and navigation systems for aviation and space rocketry. Graduates work for such enterprises as “AVIAKOR-Aviation plant” plc, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Space Rocket Center “TsSKB-Progress”, “Information satellite systems” named after academician M.F.Reshetnev” plc, “Research institute “Ekran” plc and others. Graduates occupy positions of production engineers, design engineers, carry out research, head up divisions and enterprises.
