From 27 November to 1 December the employees of Samara National Research University held a residential school-seminar for colleagues from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. In Monterrey Samara scholars told about the satellite technologies and nano-satellites.
The delegation of Samara University was made up of Dean of Electronics and Instrument Engineering Ilya Kudryavtsev, Head of Inter-University Department of Space Research Igor Belokonov, Assistant Lecturer of Inter-University Department of Space Research Efim Ustyugov and postgraduate student of Department of Electrical Engineering Stepan Shafran.
The themes of the seminar covered the questions of nano-satellites projecting and testing, solution of the navigation and orientation tasks, questions of working space organization in a laboratory and peculiarities of electrical components projecting for nano-satellites.
Both lecturers and masters of the largest private Mexican university taking 199th place in QS World Ranking sat at desks.
In the course of visit discussion of the possible formats of future collaboration between universities of Monterrey and Samara occurred.
