About the program
Bachelor’s degree program in Quality Management provides universally marketable skills desirable in aircraft, automotive, metals, petrochemical, construction, energy, pharmaceutical, medical, technical services and other industries.
The program leads graduates to high-paying roles and promotion opportunities, including Quality Director, Technical Director, Chief Engineer, Manufacturing Manager and CEO.
The program structure is a combination of three key components – engineering, management and IT.
Intended learning outcomes
The program emphasis is on the acquisition of advanced knowledge concerning:
– modern methods of quality management, such as structural and functional analysis of products and manufacturing process, QFD, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Poka-Yoke, implemented throughout the product lifecycle to improve the quality and competitiveness of products;
– application of quality management software such as NX, Ansys, MathCad, MATHLAB;
– business process analysis and modeling used to improve the business efficiency;
– application of PMBOK, Agile, APQP project management standards;
– implementation of a management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 standards;
– audits of quality management systems and integrated management systems;
– audits of manufacturing and technological processes, identification and elimination of nonconformities affecting the product quality and manufacturing efficiency;– lean manufacturing techniques implemented to increase labor productivity;
– supplier assessment, selection and development;– implementation of statistical management techniques;– industrial metrology;– product and management system certification;– management of cross-functional teams improving business competitiveness;
– corporate training on modern methods of quality management.
