From February 27 to March 4, 2016 the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences will conduct XVII Scientific School “Nonlinear Waves – 2016”, which will address the following issues:• Modern problems of the theory of nonlinear oscillations and waves • Nonlinear processes in geophysics • Astrophysics and cosmology • The physics of extreme light fields and high-powered lasers • Nonlinear processes in neurosystems • Quantum systems and condensed mattersThe School “Nonlinear Waves – 2016” will take place in the health resort “Avtomobilist” on Borskiy District of Nizhny Novgorod Region, where leisure is expected in addition to the work program.
