On February 8, the annual award ceremony for the winners of the regional stage of the National Award in the field of public relations “Silver Archer – Samara” took place in the studio of the Samara GTRK (State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company). The joint project of the Department of Economic Development, Investment and Trade of Samara City District and Samara University “Investment Passport of Samara City District. Revision 3.0” won in the nomination “Development and Promotion of Territories”. All residents of the region could watch the ceremony and the winners’ presentations due to live broadcasting on media resources of the Samara GTRK.

The project on updating the investment passport of Samara City District was carried out in 2023 by the University’s team consisting of employees of the Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics and the Department of Public and Municipal Management, based on Samara University’s Resource Centre for Sustainable Development. The project was supported by the Department of Project Activities.

Vladislav Zotov, Deputy Head of Samara City District, Head of the Department of Economic Development, Investment and Trade, and Anna Klentak, Head of the Department of Project Activities at Samara University’s Resource Centre for Sustainable Development, presented the project at the award ceremony.

“The project has been mainly targeted at shaping external and internal contractors’ — primarily, of course, possible investors’ — new views on the investment potential of Samara. To do this, it is necessary to create a favourable information field for promoting Samara as an investment-attractive territory. Therefore, we took a completely new look at the communication strategy of the project”, noted Anna Klentak during the project presentation.

The student nomination was won by the University students’ project “Student Startup: How to Open a Communications Agency on a Scholarship”.
