The list of winners of the competitive selection of the ANO "NTI Platform" for conducting acceleration programs in 2024 as part of the implementation of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship" has been published. Samara University was among the winners of the project, and there are 151 projects in the list of winners. The finalists of the competition organize accelerator programs, which are designed to support project teams and student initiatives to form innovative products.
University-based acceleration programs are designed to improve the idea of student teams and strengthen their competencies. The programs consist of lectures, workshops, networking and meetings with mentors and experts. As a result of the programs, the number and quality of student technology projects should increase at the winning universities, the entrepreneurial activities of young people should be stimulated and their research projects should find investors.

In Autumn 2024, the University’s Startup Centre will use the 6.4 million rouble grant to implement the Space for Life accelerator program. Thematic NTI markets will be TechNet, AeroNet, EduNet.
Director of the Startup Center Elena Sergeevna Bogatova:
“This fall, we plan to continue the practice of implementing the intercollegiate accelerator together with SamSMU. In addition to projects that have already passed acceleration programs and now want to receive additional expertise on accelerator markets, we are also waiting for other interested participants. Students who want to form a team and try their hand at implementing startups.

It will not be without innovations. As part of this season's acceleration program, we will give participants the opportunity to implement the tasks of the Advanced Aerospace Engineering School of Samara University that have already been collected and will be offered to the formed teams in the fall.

Of course, we are also glad to see participants from other universities and cities, because since 2023, the Space for Life accelerator has positioned itself precisely as an interuniversity accelerator that expands the boundaries of regional presence.”
