On January 28–31, 2025, Bauman Moscow State Technical University hosted the 49th Academic Readings on Cosmonautics, dedicated to the memory of Academician S.P. Korolev and other outstanding Russian scientists, the discoverers of outer space, “Korolev Readings 2025.”

The section sessions of the Academic Readings were held in twenty-two tracks, during which participants were able to discuss a wide range of issues: from the design and construction of aircrafts to space medicine. At the “Korolev Readings 2025,” a number of sections were dedicated to the work of famous scientists: V.N. Chelomey, G.N. Babakin and others.

Students of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics at Samara University’s Institute of Aerospace Engineering took part in the Section Session “Applied Celestial Mechanics and Motion Control” and made their presentations:

·         Vladislava Efremenkova, “Modeling the motion of the inspection satellite with a low-thrust engine near the International Space Station,” Scientific Supervisor: Aleksey Vladimirovich Alekseev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics;

·         Anastasia Romanenko, “Dynamics of the cable system mounted on the spacecraft in the quasi-satellite orbit of Phobos,” Scientific Supervisor: Vladimir Stepanovich Aslanov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics.

We asked Anastasia Vladimirovna to share her impressions. “Participation in the Academic Readings on Cosmonautics was a great opportunity for presenting my work and receiving valuable comments from the country’s leading scientists. It was equally interesting to get acquainted with other scientists’ achievements and research results in related sciences.”

As part of the Academic Readings, the Plenary Session and the Round Table participated by leading specialists and experts from the space industry. Topical issues of developing manned and automated cosmonautics in the Russian Federation were discussed.

Based on the results of the 49th Academic Readings, the collection of abstracts of the participants’ reports will be published, indexed in the RSCI.
