Darya Druzhinina, a 4th-year bachelor’s student in State and Municipal Administration at Samara University, presented her research at the 33rd All-Russian Student Conference “Problems of Management – 2025,” organized by the State University of Management.
Darya’s study, titled “Legal Challenges in Processing Citizen Appeals via Social Media,” was supervised by Dr. Viktoria Bologova, Vice-Rector of Samara University, Head of the Department of State and Municipal Administration, and Professor of Juridical Sciences. The research examined the legal framework governing citizen appeals submitted through social networks, emphasizing gaps in regulatory practices.
The study examined the legal aspects of citizens' appeals submitted through social media. Daria Sergeevna emphasized the challenges of the legal regime governing such appeals, difficulties in identifying applicants, and the lack of a unified approach to their processing. She analyzed the nature of public interaction with authorities in government social media accounts and proposed recommendations for standardizing these practices.
"Participating in the conference was a wonderful experience for me! I not only presented my research but also heard feedback from experts. The atmosphere during the section meeting was excellent: each report addressed important topics, and the discussions provided new perspectives. It was especially gratifying that the ideas my advisor and I developed sparked interest and received positive feedback. I believe my presentation at the State University of Management marked an important milestone in my academic growth. Now I feel even more motivated to continue my research and strive for new heights!" — shared Daria Druzhinina.
Experts highlighted the depth of the research, the relevance of the problem, and the practical significance of the proposed solutions. The recommendations were recognized as valuable for implementation into public administration practices and for expanding the scientific and methodological foundation in the field of governance.
Daria Sergeevna’s study will be published in the conference proceedings indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
