The journal "Vestnik of Samara University. Natural Science Series" has been indexed in the open international Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

DOAJ is a unique and extensive catalog of diverse open-access journals from around the world. Created by a growing community, its mission is to ensure free online access to quality content for everyone. It represents 135 countries80 languages, and over 20,000 journals.

DOAJ works to build a fair and diverse scientific ecosystem where trustworthy research is accessible globally without barriers. Its mission is to increase the visibility, accessibility, reputation, usage, and impact of quality peer-reviewed open-access research journals worldwide – regardless of discipline, geography, or language.

The inclusion of "Vestnik of Samara University. Natural Science Series" in this database will:

·         Increase its global visibility across the World Wide Web,

·         Expand scientific collaboration,

·         Promote original research by Russian scientists (including those from Samara) in mathematics, mathematical modeling, physics, chemistry, and computational information systems – core disciplines within the natural sciences.

The journal has been published since 1995 and recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. It holds several prestigious recognitions:

·         Included in the List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals by the Higher Attestation Commission (Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Russia) since 2003 – a requirement for publishing key results of doctoral and candidate dissertations.

·         Indexed in ZBMath Open since 2003.

·         Indexed in VINITI RASCrossRef, and CyberLeninka databases.

·         Included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI, eLIBRARY) since 2005.
