Samara University Invites to Participate in the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project of the Global Universities Association

Registration for the eighth season of the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project starts. Its founder is the Global Universities Association with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo. Samara University is a member of the Association and the organizing university of the Russian Scholarship Project.

Russian Scholarship Project will be held from September 1, 2025 to November 16, 2025. It is conducted in a remote format, which allows foreign citizens or stateless persons to participate from anywhere in the world. «Open Doors» gathers motivated and gifted students from all over the world, giving them the opportunity to realize their potential at Russian universities. In the 2024/25 academic year, more than 146,000 people from 185 countries participated in the Russian Scholarship Project. Winners and runners-up of bachelor's, master's and doctoral tracks receive the right to study free of charge at Samara University without additional entrance tests. Participants in the postdoctoral track get a chance to find employment in the framework of promising research projects. Also, when registering for the Russian Scholarship Project, participants can choose the opportunity to take a free preparatory course and study Russian at Samara University, which will allow them to comfortably adapt to future student life.

During the entire existence of the project, 49 winners and runners-up of the Russian Scholarship Project from 18 countries have chosen Samara University, which annually hosts a large number of foreign citizens. It is a multicultural community where every student from every corner of the world will be able to show their talents, realize their potential and chart the trajectory of a successful future.
