The journal's inclusion in the database will help expand scientific cooperation and promote the original research of Samara scientists

The journal "Semioticheskie issledovaniya. Semiotic studies" has been included in the open international database Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

The inclusion of the journal "Semioticheskie issledovaniya. Semiotic studies" in this database will increase its visibility in the international scientific and information space, expand scientific cooperation, and promote the original research of Russian scientists, including those from Samara, in the fields of philosophy, sociology, and literary studies. It will also help create an international, interdisciplinary research space based on the terms and models of general semiotics.

The journal "Semioticheskie issledovaniya. Semiotic studies" has been published since 2021 and is celebrating its first anniversary—5 years—in 2025. Since 2023, it has been included by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals and Publications that must publish the main scientific results of doctoral and candidate of sciences dissertations. It is also indexed in the Crossref, CyberLeninka, and Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI on the eLIBRARY platform) bibliographic databases.

The Editor-in-Chief, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, and Director of the Social Sciences and Humanities Institute, Alexander Nesterov, and the editorial board express their gratitude to the leadership of Samara University, represented by Rector Vladimir Bogatyrev, the Head of the Center for Publication Activity Development at Samara University, Anastasia Grisyak, the Association of Higher Education Institutions of the Samara Region, and Eco-Vector LLC, represented by Yuri Filippov and Mikhail Saushkin, for their assistance in preparing the application, high professionalism, and cooperation.
