Four Student Projects Received Grants from the Technological Entrepreneurship Support Foundation

Representatives of Samara University took part in project defenses as part of the programs of the Samara Region Technological Entrepreneurship Support Foundation (TESF).

Dozens of projects from across the Samara region were submitted to the competition – ranging from solutions in medical technology and virtual education to oil and gas engineering and aerospace developments. Following the defense, 10 projects will receive grants of up to 5 million rubles, provided there is at least 50% co-financing.

Four of the ten winners are projects from Samara University:

1.    Development of a prototype deployment system for three-panel solar arrays for a CubeSat 3U nanosatellite platform.

2.    Development of a high-endurance micro gas turbine engine.

3.    Creation of a mock-up sample of a hardware-software complex for multispectral digital dermoscopy of skin neoplasms.

4.    Development of a methodology for hydraulic calculation of test bench systems related to studying the influence of the geometry and hydraulics of distribution manifolds on the uniformity of test conditions in oil circulation test stands.
