Speleo Club
Ever Thursday we meet at 18:40 in 241 Room Department#5. We discuss plans for future trips: destination, equipment, meeting point, or we have a lecture: for tourists and cavers: what equipment you need in a cave, how to wear , how not to get lost, how to climb and descend the rope, which knot to tie a rope.
Training
Climbing is an important skill for a caver, so we train in a new Climbing Wal at Samara University in winter season and in warmer season - on real rocks.
Hiking
We try to discover caves in Samara Region - the Sok Mines and the Cave Brothers Greve.
Trips
At least 4 times a year we go to distant lands, to deep and large caves... Over the past year, we discovered some caves of the Urals, the Caucasus and Siberia.
