On June 9, 2025, Samara National Research University signed a cooperation agreement in scientific and educational spheres with the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (DA MFA Russia).
The Regional Centre for the Development of Public Diplomacy and International Relations named after Yevgeniy M. Primakov and the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities will participate in implementing joint projects on behalf of Samara University.
The agreement provides for:
· Mutual exchange of information, scientific and educational materials, and accumulated experience on matters related to conducting joint scientific research.
· Organization of seminars, round tables, conferences, etc.
· Preparation and implementation of joint publications, including research reports, articles, and textbooks.
· Development and enhancement of joint scientific programs.
· Organization of professional internships for Samara University students at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
· And much more.
It is worth emphasizing that cooperation between the universities has been highly productive. In 2024, the following events were held:
· The round table "Memory of Civil Wars: Experiences and Approaches of Different Countries" jointly with the Council of Young Scientists of DA MFA Russia, as part of the XI Annual International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "Topical Issues of World Politics".
· The round table "Development of Methods and Technologies of Information Warfare During Internal Political Conflicts: International Experience" jointly with the School of International Information Security of DA MFA Russia.
Moreover, students of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently took an active part in the Samara Interregional Model United Nations 2025.
We look forward to further fruitful cooperation!
