Students of Samara University – Winners and Prize-Winners of the Samara Region Armwrestling Championship

First place in their respective age and weight categories among young men was won by Yaroslav Alimov (ISAE) and Roman Arefulin (IIC). Among women, Arina Novikova (ISAE) became the winner in the weight category up to 55 kg and the silver medalist in the category up to 65 kg. Students of the Law Institute, Ilya Utkin and Polina Simdyanova, also became silver medalists of the championship.

The following students also performed with dignity at these competitions and contributed to the team score:

·           4th place - Andrey Mineev, Institute of IT and Cybernetics

·           4th place - Maxim Sergeev, Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering

·         5th place - Ilya Sadovnikov, Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering

·         5th place - Mikhail Minyakov, Institute of IT and Cybernetics
