About the program
Transportation Engineering covers transportation management and marketing, and efficient management of transportation systems. The program is a unique combination of engineering and economic disciplines with computer-aided management.
Emphasis is on the acquisition of advanced knowledge concerning management of transportation system maintenance, including its engineering and commercial aspects, development of logistically efficient multimodal transportation system between air and other transportation modes, coordination of transportation security and safety activities.

Intended learning outcomes
The program stresses development of highly marketable skills suitable for various transportation-related careers, especially in air transportation industry. Students are exposed to a wide range of multimedia equipment and application software, and thus are well equipped to address current challenges in transportation industry. The equipment and software include digital maps offering route planners and using transportation infrastructure databases, CADs, GPSS World, AnyLogic, PTV Vissim, airport operations support systems.
