About the program
The Master’s degree program prepares you for a professional and research career in transportation systems management requiring problem-solving, design, and management skills. The program covers areas in transportation security and safety, transportation management systems, and intelligent transportation systems. The emphasis is on the acquisition of in-depth knowledge, understanding and expertise in multimodal transportation between air and other transportation modes.
Intended learning outcomes
The program provides you with a strong engineering background as well as the management skills necessary to apply your expertise to the solution of management and design problems in air transportation and related industries. You will develop skills to:
– develop and implement a logistics strategy, implement management and technological innovations, and information systems supporting transportation processes;
– develop and use techno-economic analysis methodology to improve the efficiency of transportation systems and processes;
– conduct and guide the comprehensive analysis and synthesis of efficient transportation systems and processes;
– guide and oversee the development and implementation of information support used in the transportation systems and operations management.
