Tuition fee: 230,000 RUB per year
About the program
The Master’s degree program provides a state-of-the-art view of space technologies and experiments in space, combining theoretical foundations, research, academic training and industry-initiated projects. It combines creative skills training suitable for basic research and space engineering and opportunities to participate in leading-edge space research activities. Students are exposed to nanosatellites, new type of satellites weighing between 1 and 10 kg, and involved into the design of advanced space technology, from the for a space experiment to nanosatellite manufacturing and control.
Intended learning outcomes
The program provides solid training in skills related to nanosatellite design, systems engineering, scientific research, and skills in identifying and solving non-trivial research and engineering problems. In addition, students develop skills to work as a project team to obtain new scientific results and innovative engineering solutions for space industry. The program introduces students to numeric computing and engineering math software (MATLAB, Mathcad) and CAD design software (SOLIDWORKS).
Graduate destinations
Program graduates take jobs as Spacecraft Design Engineers, System Project Managers, and Researchers in aerospace and other knowledge-intensive industries.
