Aerospace Systems Dynamics and Control
Field of study: 24.04.02 Navigation and Motion Control Systems
Level and credentials: Master’s Degree (UNESCO ISCED-2011 Level 7)
Program manager:
Dr. Olga Starinova
Department of Navigation and Motion Control Systems, head
Email: starinova@ssau.ru
Language of instruction: Russian
Mode of study: full-time
Duration: 2 years
Full tuition scholarship: available through Education In Russia website
Tuition fee: 230,000 RUB per year
About the program
The Master’s degree program prepares students for professional and research careers involving flight dynamics and design of control systems for advanced models of aircraft, rockets and spacecraft, such as airplanes, aerospace systems, launch vehicles, manned and unmanned spacecraft. Graduates are well equipped to create innovative products and technology solutions, including software used in control systems of aircraft, rocket and space systems, and software used for modeling of controlled motion and dynamics of aircraft, rockets and spacecraft.
Intended learning outcomes
Students on the program will develop skills to search for, organize, process and analyze data to prepare technical specifications for control systems, and to develop preliminary design of advanced aircraft, rocket and spacecraft models. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling of motion, and development of control programs for aircraft, rocket and spacecraft models. Thesis advisors motivate and encourage students to conduct independent research in the areas of flight dynamics and aircraft control systems.
Graduate destinations
Research Engineer
Calculation Engineer
Design Engineer
Test Engineer
