Program description:

The course prepares students for professional activities in creating advanced models of space rocket technology: launch vehicles, inter-orbital flight systems, manned and unmanned spacecraft for different purposes. Space equipment design is taught using modern information technologies and computer modeling.

Students obtain knowledge in rocket and space technology, learn to calculate the basic parameters of launch vehicles and spacecraft, optimal laws of their motion and control, methods of their design, methods of testing and technology of assembly and maintenance. Students gain skills in operating modern CAD systems, strength analysis software packages, documentation packages, and in programming.
