About the program
The Specialist’s degree in Aircraft Engineering prepares students to solve research and engineering problems of aircraft design and manufacturing. Graduates are well equipped for careers in engineering in their specialisms. Specific responsibilities can include designing aircraft, conducting research and developing aircraft manufacturing techniques which contribute to aircraft stability and cargo carrying capacity.
Intended learning outcomes
Through the course of their studies, students will gain abilities to:
– obtain, collect, organize and analyze input data to design aircraft and its systems;
– understand and apply best practices of aircraft-related engineering to the development of aircraft structures;
– develop technical and financial rationale for design solutions, perform technical audit;
– develop design solutions for aircraft and its systems based on a systematic approach;
– use advanced digital modeling techniques;
– create and maintain the documentation required to support all stages of the product lifecycle.
