    About the program

The program is designed to combine core courses on foundation areas, such as fundamentals of GNSS, positioning technique, mathematical methods of signal processing, cutting-edge circuit engineering, and special topic courses covering implementation of radio receivers, SDR technology, antennas, DSP processors and algorithms, acquisition and tracking of GNSS signals, micro- and nanoelectronics.

    Intended learning outcomes

Graduates from the Master’s degree program are well equipped to enter the spectrum of professions which value a high ability in the development of GNSS system hardware and software, adaptation of typical solutions to specific applications, and implementation of new signal-processing algorithms in SDR approach. It provides solid training in core skills related to Matlab simulation of GNSS signals and hardware/software, development of FPGA- and DSP-based GNSS receivers, and effective implementation of SDR technology and specific positioning algorithms. A key aspect of students’ research experience will be exposure to the advanced GNSS technologies used in various applied and basic research projects, including study of the geophysical environments in the near Earth space.

    Graduate destinations

Recent destinations include roles in a variety of industries including electronics, geodetic surveying and scientific research.
