I came to Samara in October 2023. It was a new country, a new culture, and a language I didn’t speak yet.
The beginning wasn’t easy — especially learning Russian. Every day brought something new to learn, new people to meet, and a lot of small challenges. But with time, patience, and effort, things began to change.
Now, I study International Relations at Samara National Research University — and I’m proud of that. The university is more than just a place to attend classes. It’s a place where ideas are shared, people from different cultures connect, and opportunities are open for those who want to grow.
The professors are supportive, the atmosphere is international, and the campus feels alive. I’ve learned not just about politics or diplomacy, but about how the world really works — and how we all play a part in it.
Outside of class, I enjoy visiting museums, going to cultural events, and exploring the city. Samara has a lot to offer, and I try to experience as much of it as I can.
