On October 9, the Samara Region Technological Entrepreneurship Support Fund announced the results of the open competition for innovative projects aimed at developing the region's innovation infrastructure. Samara University's project was recognized as one of the best initiatives in the region.

On August 28, the Fund opened the application process for the competition, which focuses on developing innovation infrastructure for the benefit of the Samara Region's economy. On October 9, the finalists presented their initiatives for creating and developing acceleration programs aimed at supporting tech startups, student teams, and fostering effective collaboration between universities, research, and business.

"We see that the region's universities are becoming real hubs for technological initiatives. Behind every project is a team that believes in its ideas and is ready to implement them. Together, we are building an infrastructure that allows students and researchers to turn ideas into real technological solutions that are in demand by business and industry," said Valeria Anisimova, Director of the Technological Entrepreneurship Support Fund.

Samara University became one of the competition winners with its project: the interregional track of the AeroNet market for drones and near space, "KorolevTech," as part of the "Space for Life" acceleration program. The idea was presented at the Fund's platform by Victoria Vladimirovna Bolgova, Vice-Rector of Samara University.

The project will receive grant funding of over 6 million rubles, provided that at least 50% is co-financed. The Fund's support will allow the University to expand its technological entrepreneurship infrastructure and create new opportunities for students, researchers, and innovators in the region.

"In August, our idea received support in the 'Sovereign Acceleration Model' nomination at Archipelago 2025," recalled Elena Bogatova, Director of the Samara University Startup Center. "And today, we have moved another step closer to creating an ecosystem where student ideas become projects, and projects become businesses. 'KorolevTech' is ready for takeoff!"

Three other universities in the Samara Region also received grant support from the Fund for presenting the best programs in the field of innovation and technological development.
