The Regional Centre for the Development of Public Diplomacy and International Relations named after Yevgeniy M. Primakov was visited by Kirill Barsky, Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, Acting Head of the Department of Diplomacy at MGIMO University under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Representing Samara National Research University at the meeting were Mikhail Leonov, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, and Vitaliy Roshchupkin, Director of the Primakov Center.
Current issues of international diplomacy and cooperation were discussed during the visit. Kirill Mikhailovich shared his extensive experience in the diplomatic field, emphasizing the importance of intercultural dialogue and strengthening international ties.
Special attention was paid to the role of regional centers in promoting public diplomacy and supporting international cooperation. Kirill Mikhailovich noted that such initiatives contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and trust between countries.
The visit concluded with a discussion of prospects for further cooperation and possible directions for joint projects.
