The delegation included Rector Vladimir Bogatyrev, Head of the International Cooperation Department Anton Gulbis, and Head of the Metal Forming Department, Director of the Digital Factory for Regional Aviation and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems Yaroslav Yerisov.
The delegation visited the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU), with which a cooperation agreement had been signed this summer. The parties discussed issues of developing collaboration, particularly in connection with the launch of a higher education program in Unmanned Aerial Systems and Aircraft Manufacturing at BSTU. University staff and faculty from BSTU will undergo training at Samara University. In turn, faculty from Samara University will visit the Belarusian State Technological University to exchange experience in another field—the creation of a xylotheque.
Additionally, at a conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Belarusian State Technological University, the rector delivered a report on the topical issue "On the Development of Russian Engineering Education: The Case of Samara University."
Furthermore, during the working visit, the delegation held a meeting with the International Institute of Labor and Social Relations of Belarus. The parties agreed that a tripartite partnership agreement in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems will be signed between the Institute, Samara University, and the Belarusian company "KB Unmanned Helicopters."
