History

The Club was created on the basis of the Inter-Department Design Bureau of Small Aviation.

The revival of the tradition of flight training of students of Samara University (until 1990 - Kuibyshev Aviation Institute) belongs to the head of the Inter-Department Design Bureau Vladimir Shakhmistov, head of the parachute section of the University Faina Bevzyuk, head of the Department of Extracurricular Work Maria Reznichenko.

The result of this work was the organization of the Student Aviation Sports and Technical Club in 2015. The Club was named after Y.L. Tarasov, a graduate of  Kuibyshev Aviation Institute, professor of the University, master in sports of the USSR of aerobatics, All-Union and international judge.
