The All-Russian Competition of Scientific Research Works with International Participation "Ten to the Minus Ninth" started at Samara University. The Competition to have proven itself as an important platform for young researchers opens again its doors to schoolchildren of Grades 7-10, who want to immerse themselves in the world of science and nanotechnology.
Since its launch in 2020, the Competition "Ten to the Minus Ninth" has attracted over 20,000 participants from Russia and other countries, providing unique opportunities to develop research skills and creative thinking. The participants will not only be able to present their developments, but also receive valuable advice from the Competition experts.
"Ten to the Minus Ninth" consists of three stages. The first stage includes the completion of qualifying tasks in the test format, which will be available on the official website of the Competition nanossau.ru until April 30, 2025. The participants in the second stage will develop research papers on the themes proposed by the organizers, with the deadline on July 01, 2025. The third stage involves the interview with the Competition experts, following the results of the remote assessment of the paper.
The Competition finale will be held in Crimea on September 01-22, 2025. The finalists will receive diplomas, vouchers to the International Children’s Centre "Artek" and additional 10 points to the Unified State Exam when admitting to Samara University.

The Competition is included in the list of Olympiads and other intellectual competitions proposed by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
