Italian Cluster for Aerospace Technology Is Interested in Samara University Research

On the basis of the university the meeting with industry enterprises of the region was held

The delegation of entrepreneurs from the Cluster for Aerospace Technology of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna visited Samara University.
Italian entrepreneurs met with the representatives of the aerospace cluster enterprises of Samara region. Samara University plays a central role in this cluster.

Italian businessmen interested in the development of aerospace technologies were welcomed by Vice-Rector for Education and Foreign Affairs Vladimir Bogatyrev, Head of International Office Sergey Tits, Head of the Engineering Centre of Innovation Aerospace Cluster of Samara Region Sergey Kornilov. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Rocket Space Centre “Progress”, Engine Company “Kuznetsov”, Syzran Plant “Plastic”.
The Italian delegation was led by the president of BMC Srl Gaetano Bergami.       
Mr. Bergami noted that Italian Cluster for Aerospace Technology is interested in cooperation with enterprises in Innovation Aerospace Cluster of Samara Region, resident companies of technology parks of the region, and in scientific research of universities in the field of technologies and materials used in aerospace industry.
The guests also visited Space Data Receiving and Processing Centre, the Inter-University Department of Space Research, the Laboratory of Additive Technologies, the Scientific and Technical Centre for Composite Materials, the Institute of Industrial Innovation Technologies. At the end of the visit, the delegation from Italy got acquainted with the collection of the Centre of the Aircraft Engines History of Samara University.
