The Innovation Fund of the Samara Region has determined the winners of the open competition for providing funds for co-financing work on projects recognized as winners of competitions and programs of state authorities of the Russian Federation and federal development institutions. In particular, one of the winners is Samara University’s project “Development of Digital Quality-Management Tools at the Stages of the Product Life Cycle.”
The digital quality-management system developed as the project result is designed for ensuring stable quality of the supplied products. It will also optimize internal management and production processes, reduce complexity of the processes and risks related to the supply of components.
The project results may be in demand at most mechanical-engineering enterprises, in particular: manufacturers of aviation, space and rocket technology; propulsion engineering enterprises, suppliers of automotive components; engineering organizations engaged in designing and developing complex technical products within the mechanical engineering industry.
“Following the project results, a model of the digital platform of the quality management system will be developed. It will be the set of services and software modules aimed at solving key quality management tasks at manufacturing enterprises of the mechanical-engineering industry. The model will describe the architecture of interaction between processes, procedures and functionality of digital services of the quality management system. The digital platform of the quality management system is being developed for the first time, with no Russian and foreign analogues,” explained Ekaterina Savich, the project manager, Associate Professor at the Department of Aircraft Production and Quality Control in Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Director of the Advanced Aerospace Engineering School.
