At the end of September 2024, the All-Russian Competition of Scientific and Technical Works was held in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, as part of the 8th Research and Practice Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists “Research and Promising Developments in Mechanical Engineering”.
The Competition was jointly organized by Yu. A. Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant and Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University, with the support of the Khabarovsk Regional Branch of the Mechanical Engineers Union of Russia.
The Competition was participated by graduate students, young scientists and specialists of leading universities and enterprises of the country’s aerospace industry from Moscow to the Far East.
The expert commission, which included scientists from Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University and technical top managers of enterprises in the aerospace industry, assessed relevance of the studies, the extent of elaboration of the scientific and technological solutions proposed, the probability of technical implementation and the level of readiness for practical introduction in production.
Radmir Zagidullin, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Aircraft Production and Quality Management in Mechanical Engineering, Principal Design Engineer of the Department of Space Rocket Operation at the “Progress” Rocket-Space Centre JSC, successfully defended his scientific and technical paper entitled “Design Methodology and Manufacturing Technology of Rocket-Space Engineering Parts and Assemblies Made of Polymer Composite Materials in Conditions of Additive Manufacturing” and took the honorable first place in the Section “General Design, Electronic Design Tools, Dynamics and Strength of Structures. Applied Mathematical Methods”.
The expert commission of the Competition paid special attention to Radmir Salimyanovich’s work outcomes to have been implemented at the enterprise of the “Progress” Rocket-Space Centre JSC.
This is the third successful defense performed by our young scientist in this Competition. The first defense took place in 2019, when Radmir Salimyanovich won the honorable third place in the Section “Mechanical Engineering Technology”. The second defense was in 2021 and resulted in awarding the young scientist the second place in the Section “General Design, Electronic Design Tools, Dynamics and Strength of Structures. Applied Mathematical Methods” (the Competition is held every two years).
Radmir Salimyanovich has been invited as an expert to the next scientific competition in the Far East.
