This year, the Eighth Samara University Student Award was held – an annual competition for students who stand out in any of the fields of activity: research, creative, social, sports and many others. The Science nomination was divided into technical and humanitarian sciences and was supervised by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.
Throughout the month, the participants collected their portfolios, went through several stages of selection, collected images for the award and waited for the results.
On October 26, a Student Award ceremony was held in the assembly hall of Samara University. This year's theme was the film Gatsby, a bright and glamorous Art Deco style. Mikhail Mikhailovich Leonov, Vice-rector for Extracurricular Activities and Youth Policy, gave a welcoming speech. The awards followed, and in between them - the musical performancews by Arina Abramova, Alexandra Kits and Fyodor Pavlov.
