Samara University Students and Staff are Laureates and Finalists of the Governor’s Award in Physical Culture and Sports

Samara University students and staff are laureates and finalists of the Governor’s Award in Physical Culture and Sports in 2024! The results shown in the period from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024, were counted.

The awards were presented by Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Governor of the Samara Region, Lidia Rogozhinskaya, Minister of Sports, Olga Arteshina, President of the Regional Basketball Federation, Olympic medalist, Irina Bliznova, President of the Lada Handball Club, Olympic champion.

The Award laureates and finalists were chosen.

Ruslana Salamova, a student of the Law Institute, hand-to-hand combat, became the finalist in the Nomination “Pride of the Province”, Athlete of the Year in non-Olympic sports (women).

In the Nomination “Golden Olympus”, Team of the Year, the team “Gold Space – Samara University”, fitness aerobics, led by Maria Bryzgalova, Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Education, has won the Award.
