We asked the students to share their impressions. Here's what Ivan Andreevich said:
"It was an unforgettable experience: so many participants, each one fascinating to listen to. Lively debates erupted after almost every presentation, and participating in them was a real pleasure. For me and my colleagues, participating in the conference provided excellent public speaking practice."
Elizaveta Andreevna wrote:
"Participating in the conference was an invaluable experience for me. I not only expanded my knowledge of current issues in the Latin American region but also gained the unique opportunity to meet and interact with leading researchers of Latin America in Russia.
During the master classes by renowned Russian scholars L.S. Okuneva and P.P. Yakovlev, I deepened my understanding of the economic, political, and social processes unfolding in South American countries and received answers to questions relevant to my research. Participation in the conference has provided me with powerful motivation to continue my work studying this incredibly fascinating region."
Alina Mironova echoed her colleagues' comments:
"This conference was a unique opportunity to present the results of my research. The range of topics covered was extremely broad, allowing me to learn new and interesting information about Latin America. Everything took place in a friendly atmosphere, and the questions from colleagues after my presentation helped me view my research topic more broadly and uncover new aspects.
In addition to the main program, a cultural event was organized – a visit to the Center for the History of the Russian Diplomatic Service, located in the building of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences for providing such significant opportunities for young specialists and wish them continued success in their scientific endeavors."
Following the conference, participants received certificates and the opportunity to apply to have their research published.
