Studying in Samara: My Experience as a Student from Uzbekistan

Hello! My name is Danil, and I am a student from Uzbekistan currently living and studying in Samara, Russia. Like many Russian-speaking students from Uzbekistan, I chose Russia for higher education to gain knowledge, experience, and better career opportunities.

Moving to a new country is always a challenge, but it is also an exciting adventure. Samara, a beautiful city on the Volga River, has welcomed me with its rich culture and friendly people. I study at Samara University, known for its strong programs in engineering and aerospace technology. Every day here is a new experience—whether it’s adapting to the climate, trying local food, or participating in student activities.

As a student from Uzbekistan, I appreciate the cultural similarities while also enjoying the differences that make life in Russia unique. My goal is to make the most of my time in Samara—to study hard, gain valuable skills, and build connections for my future career.
