The All-Russian student holiday “Your Graduation” took place at the National Centre “Russia”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the All-Russian student project “Your Move”, with the support of the All-Russian Society “Znanie”, the National Centre “Russia” and the All-Russian Public and State Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First”.
The All-Russian student graduation brought together 600 outstanding university graduates from more than 80 regions of Russia, who have contributed to developing the university environment. Among the participants, there were not only winners of national projects, but also international students who have achievements in the field of youth policy and educational activities. “Your Graduation” was participated by representatives of the faculty and vice-rectors responsible for implementing youth policy in the country’s universities.
Samara University was represented by its graduates Zoya Morina, Daria Vladimirova, Yulia Volodina, Yulia Afanasyeva, and Elizaveta Kabanova. The delegation was headed by Maria Reznichenko, Head of the Extracurricular Activities Office.
The main purpose of the event is recognizing students’ achievements of students, their contribution and involvement in developing universities and the youth environment, as well as forming the community of graduates who are ready to develop education, science and culture in the country. In 2025, the graduation was held under the motto “Let’s stay in touch”, which implied the continuity of generations, maintaining ties with the university community and confidently moving forward.
Among the graduation participants were active students, winners of All-Russian projects and competitions, who had proved themselves in their studies and in implementing key youth initiatives and contributing to the development of the university environment. At the solemn ceremony, 26 outstanding graduates who graduated from their universities with absolute honour and achieved high results in scientific, social, creative, sports and media fields, as well as graduates who created a family during their studies and developed socially important projects together, were celebrated on the main stage of the National Centre “Russia”.
“Your Graduation” was held in the form of a marathon with educational and cultural blocks in online and offline formats. The presentation of red diplomas took place live in the official community of the All-Russian student project “Your Move”, with the main actors in the field of youth policy and educational activities to congratulate graduates from all over the country, the baton of greetings from federal universities was passed, video messages from rectors were shown. On the venue of the National Centre “Russia”, the participants were expected to meet with mentors and speakers, take part in master classes, sessions, and the campaign “Letter to a Freshman” from a graduate. Educational and motivational activities were supported by the “Tavrida” Art Cluster, the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia, the SHUM Center, the “NOS” Student Media Centre of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the Dobro.rf ecosystem.
An important part of the event was the grand opening of the art object “Russian Students in Person”, mosaics of photographs of graduates, their mentors and university symbols. The solemn part included the ceremony of awarding 26 outstanding graduates, expressing congratulations from distinguished guests and officials, holding the concert participated by university creative groups and the famous performer, poet and composer Zhenya Trofimov and the “Culture Room” music group.
The event drew a line under the important life stage for thousands of students and became the starting point for their further journey. It reminded us that student life is not just a period of study, but a school of leadership, responsibility, self-development and the search for senses. The All-Russian graduation brought together those who had already become part of the country’s unified student community, and helped keep the relations on the way to new achievements.
The All-Russian student project “Your Move” is implemented as part of the Federal Project “Russia – the Land of Opportunities” within the National Project “Youth and Children”, uniting active youth who are ready to contribute to developing universities, regions and the country. Its mission is creating conditions for developing abilities of enrollees and students, for the purpose of involving them in independent work on reforming the educational environment. At present, the project’s platform has more than 2 million participants.
