C’Space-2013: successful launch of Soyuz-2 model rocket

This launch was the successful completion of 2 year common project between SSAU and ISAE. Within the project in 2012 there was launched a model of rocket engineered in student design bureau of SSAU. The rocket delivered atmospheric sounder on a predetermined altitude. This year the rocket was modified to ensure undocking of strap-on booster. SSAU was represented by two post-graduate students of Aerospace engineering faculty Maksim Korovin and Ivan Kaurov, and several undergraduate students.
