Samara University and Pacific State University to establish cooperation

Vladimir Bogatyrev, Rector of Samara University, while on a working visit to Khabarovsk, visited the Pacific State University and got acquainted with the work of the centers of industrial design, additive technologies, CAD-CAM, automation and electrical engineering laboratories of the University.

As a result of the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between Samara University and Pacific State University in the educational and scientific fields.

"During the visit, agreements were reached on the implementation of a trilateral educational program on astronautics with the participation of South Asian universities, as well as network educational programs on electroplating and industrial casting design. In addition, we are planning joint activities in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). In particular, the organization of internships for scientific and pedagogical staff of the Pacific State University on the basis of Samara University and joining forces to refine the UAV and payload, as well as to further commercialize our developments. A roadmap will be approved in the near future, in which we will specify the areas of cooperation," Vladimir Bogatyrev outlined priorities.
